Parade 2021 OFFICIAL RULES

Sign up for the Brick-or-Treat Party Nights Costume Contest Parade between 10:00am-5:55pm in the Model Shop Alcove in Miniland

for each evening competition.

All entrants must be registered at least 5 minutes prior to their chosen category time slot to compete

1. Who is Eligible – The Costume Contest is open to children age 12 and younger. Guests older than 12 may participate in the GROUP

category but must be accompanied by a child under the age of 12. To participate, guests must be present at the Model Shop Alcove

Information Tent at the scheduled timeslot for your registered Costume Contest. A new contest for all three category themes will be

held each Brick-or-Treat Party Night, i.e., October 2

, October 9

, October 16

, October 23

, and October 30

from 3pm-6pm.

2. How to Enter – In order to enter, participants must sign up at the registration table in the Model Shop Alcove no later than 5

minutes before the time each contest starts. Participants will be given a number and that number must be worn during the contest.

Each contest will have a maximum capacity of 175 participants; therefore, entry in each contest is limited to the first 175

registrants for that contest. Participants may sign up for as many contests each Brick-or-Treat Party Night. However, if they win,

they cannot participate again in any 2021 Costume Contest Parade.

3. Selection of Winner – Costumes will be judged by three LEGOLAND® Park judges. There will be one (1) winner for each category.

Each winner can only win one (1) Costume Contest Parade during the Brick-or-Treat Party Nights. The selection of each winner,

and the criteria used in selecting each winner, are within the sole discretion of the LEGOLAND Park judges and the decisions of the

LEGOLAND Park judges are final. There will be one (1) winner in each of the three categories per Costume Contest Parade. Any

costume which, in the sole opinions of the judges is inappropriate for viewing by LEGOLAND guests will not be permitted in the

contest.

4. Prize – The winner of Best Homemade Costume and Best LEGO costume each contest, each Brick-or-Treat party night will receive

two LEGOLAND California Resort Hopper Tickets and LEGO® toy product. (ARV $290). The winner of the Best Group category for

each contest, each Brick-or-Treat party night will receive two LEGOLAND California Resort Hopper Tickets and LEGO toy product.

(ARV $340). LEGOLAND California Resort Hopper Tickets will expire on October 30, 2022 and must be used on or before that date.

5. Miscellaneous - Contest open to residents of the United States 12 years and under. Employees of LEGOLAND, The LEGO Group,

and any event sponsors, or their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family

members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and

local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. LEGOLAND reserves the right

to substitute prize of equal or greater value. No substitution, barter, transfer or assignment of prizes permitted, except by

LEGOLAND at its sole discretion. All other costs associated with prize not stated herein as being awarded are the responsibility of the

winner. All details of prize not specified herein are at the sole discretion of LEGOLAND. By participating in the contest, entrants

agree that neither LEGOLAND nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, or agencies, nor any of their respective employees,

shareholders, directors or officers, will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage, cost, or expense,

including, without limitation, any personal injury, arising from or in connection with participation in the contest or the acceptance,

possession, or use of prize. Winner acknowledges that neither LEGOLAND nor its directors, employees, or agents, have made nor are

in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to

any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose. By participating in the

contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. This promotion is sponsored by LEGOLAND
