Saving a SESIS document as a PDF file
Introduction
This training guide provides the instructions for saving a SESIS document as a PDF file using the Print
feature.
Overview
1. From the student’s documents, click to open the desired document.
2. For documents with multiple sections, hover over the sections arrow to open the fly-out menu.
3. Select the desired section you want to print and save to PDF.
Proceed to the section of this guide related to your selected section, either Saving a Section with
Send/Print Letter or Saving a Section with the Print Dropdown Menu.

Saving a Section with Send/Print Letter
1. Click Send/Print Letter.
2. Select OK to record an event.
3. Enter the event information.

4. Click Accept/Print located in the bottom right corner.
5. Proceed to the Print/Save as PDF section of this guide.
Saving a Section with the Print Dropdown Menu
1. Click Print.
2. Select This Section, Selected Sections, or All Sections

Print/Save as PDF
1. From the print window, click the Destination dropdown menu to select an option that includes the
words Print to PDF or Save as PDF.
2. Click Save.
3. Verify the location to save the PDF, verify or enter the file name, then click Save.
Note: Documents may be stored:
On an encrypted thumb drive
On a NYC DOE server, if you have access to VPN
On a private folder on your personal computer
On a NYC DOE One Drive folder for permanent storing
