1. Once ACL has created an account, you will receive an email from
noreply@okta.com with instructions for setting up your account. Follow the
instructions in the email .
Check spam or junk folders if the email is not in your inbox.
2. Open the email and select “Activate Okta Account” to use your email to
activate your account.
Grantees should contact their Regional Administrator (RA) to have an
account created.
The best browsers to access OAAPS are Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

3. A registration page will pop up. Create a password and choose
and answer a security question. The password must be at least 8
characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a
number, and a symbol. The password cannot contain any part of
your username or your first or last name. Enter the password
twice.

5. If you select “Add
Phone Number” for
one or both
options, a window
will pop up to enter
your phone
number. Enter your
phone number. If
you would like to
receive a text
message to recover
your password, you
must enter a mobile
phone number.
After you enter your
phone number,
select “Send
Code”.
Note: If you only have a landline, do not enter a
phone number for SMS text messages. You must
have a cell phone to receive SMS text messages.
4. Next, there are two
options to add a phone
number. You do not
need to enter both. If
you cannot remember
your password, you
will have an option to
recover your password
by text message (SMS)
or voice call. If you
want to use these
features in the future,
select “Add Phone
Number” for text
messages (SMS)
and/or voice calls.

8. The website will take you to a new page. You can click on the
OAAPS link or go to www.oaaps.acl.gov to sign in to your
account on OAAPS.
7. Next, scroll down and
choose a security
image. When you log
in to OAAPS in the
future, this image
should be displayed.
If you do not see the
image, you should
not enter your
password as the site
may be fraudulent.
Select an image that
you will remember.
Then, select “Create
My Account”.
6. Once you receive a text message or phone call with the code, enter the code
and select “Verify”. The box should turn green and read “Phone number
successfully verified!” Select “Done” to complete the process.
