Select your identity documentation option
This checklist details the documentation needed to meet Rabobank’s personal identication
and address verication requirements. Please see the next page of the form for the address
verication requirements.
Please select one of the following options and make sure you have copies of documents certied by a trusted referee listed
below or sighted and signed by a Rabobank New Zealand sta member.

New Zealand bank, other than
Rabobank, with the customer’s name
embossed

Identication Verication Requirements
Rabobank New Zealand sta are able to sight and sign a
copy of the above original ID documents. Please present
your ID at your closest branch

Certication requirements if using a trusted referee:
• Name of trusted referee
• Occupation
• Date
• Signature of trusted referee
• A statement conrming the documents are
legitimate copies of the original document
Photo ID – A true copy and represents the identity of
the named individual
Non-photo ID - A true copy of the original document
Where multiple IDs are required for more than one
account holder, each individual copy of ID document
must be certied
All certied copies must be presented within 3
months of certication
List of trusted referees:
• Justice of the Peace
• Registered Medical Doctor
• Member of Parliament
• Notary Public
• A member of the Police
• NZ Honorary Consul
• Lawyer
• Registered Chartered Accountant
• Registered Teacher
• Commonwealth Representative
A trusted referee must not be:
• Related to the customer, e.g. a trusted referee
cannot be their spouse or partner, parent, child,
brother, sister, aunt, uncle or cousin
• A person who lives at the same address as the
customer
• A person involved in the transaction or business
requiring the certication
• The Customer
